Arlington Family Dental Center
Re-Opening May 1st, 2020
NEW Advanced SAFETY PROTOCOL
Steps We’re Taking to Make Every Visit Safe
In recognition of COVID-19 virus, we realize our patients have questions. As dedicated health care professionals, we want you to know that we remain as diligent as ever in protecting the health and safety of our patients and staff. Our practice strictly adheres to and exceeds the standards for infection control by wearing personal protective gear, using hospital-grade disinfectants, practicing the latest sterilization protocols. Every effort we have in place is to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. We want you to know that we are monitoring this situation very closely, and we will keep you updated regularly.
As of May 1st we will be open for Dental Care. Please note that our normal hours will be adjusted temporarily and are subject to change in the coming months as daily routines go back to normal.
Staff Training
Each member of our team is updated on awareness and minimizing cross-contamination is an important part of our plan.
Hand Sanitizing
Every patient will be asked to thoroughly disinfect their hands upon entering our office. We will ask you to dispose of any outside gloves before you enter.
Physical Distancing in Place
We will minimize number of patients in our office at one time to reduce any interactions.
Daily Health Checks of our Team
Temperature checks and a quick set of questions will ensure our team is ready, willing, and able to provide safe dental care – every day.
Advanced Chairside Suction and Hepa Air Purifiers in our rooms
We will utilize additional high-speed evacuation to minimize aerosol contamination and improve air quality.
Anti-Microbial Rinse
We will provide peroxide/peridex solution to rinse with before starting your visit.
Cleaning After Every Appointment
Meticulous sanitizing and sterilization of any and all equipment and instruments touched – even above normal protocol. This will give more time between patients.
Expanded Patient Appointment and Scheduling:
In an effort to save you time and multiple visits, we are offering extended appointments. This allows us to do more dentistry in a single visit. We are thinning the schedule out to limit the patients interacting with each other.
Face Shields, Protective Coats/ Caps and Masks
When appropriate, our team will utilize another layer of protection to minimize the spread or absorption of airborne particles.
ONLY Patients (and one parent or guarantor for patients under 18) are to enter treatment area and office (if possible). Additional family members who are not scheduled will need to wait in the vehicle.
Parking Lot check-in:
Patients and/or their Parent/Guardian will “Check-In” by calling our office to confirm your arrival; we will tell you when it is time for you to come inside to avoid contact with all other patients.
